Since 2001, Sarmady has been dominating the digital world in Egypt by producing and distributing finest digital content through websites accessed by millions, names include: FilGoal.com, FilFan.com, FilBalad.com, Mangam.com, iCroc.com & ContactCars.com.

In 2008 Sarmady was acquired by Vodafone Egypt, becoming the digital marketing subsidary of Vodafone, forming the number one digital network in Egypt with affiliation of websites like Goal.com, Youm7.com, AhlyNews.com, Waffar.com, e3050.com, EgyDoc.com…etc and many other projects in the stack, And also signed a partnership with NetAdvantage in 2009 to become the exclusive seller of NetAdvantage ads in Egypt.

In 2009, Sarmady expanded its content into mobile sites, with the release of 4 major mobile sites for FilGoal, iCroc, FilFan & ContactCars, getting more than 2 million page visits per month.

In 2010 Sarmady decided to create a new channel to distribute its content, which is mobile apps.

The vision is to create mobile apps which are appealing to Egyptian user to use and add direct value to his daily life.

There are number of targeted mobile platforms to develop mobile apps on, but the focus now will be mainly on Symbian, Java ME and iPhone platforms, based on Sarmady mobile network visits statistics.

Sarmady is looking for different kind of developers, who believe that mobility is the key to the future, and have the passion to innovate and interpret the needs of each Egyptian into mobile apps, that will go to the pockets of their family, friends and they themselves.
